Hardware Controllers only working connected to system or in USB

I recently updated to 6.1 (NOT 6.2) and now my controllers don't work wirelessly. What do I need to do to fix it?

Are they the original controllers? Are they the pro? Joy cons?

Yes, original pro and the original 2 joycons

For the joycons I managed to get that issue fixed by connecting my switch to the dock with both joycons attached. For the pro I suggest trying the SYNC button it has next to the charging port and pressing L+R, you should do this on the pairing options for your Switch

The option is only available when you have flight mode enabled.
