Okay, your backup files should be fine I think. They're the right size and Hekate did confirm the integrity of the backups, right?
Yeah it did confirm the integrity upon completion! Hopefully I'll never have to use the backups and if I do, pray it won't take another 1111 minutes to restore the files X')

I AM kinda tempted to re-format the SD-card to exfat now though, if that's what I have to do in order to play games where the files are larger than 4 GB? But if exfat runs a higher risk of getting corrupted... Could I simply split the files and make them work that way?

everything seems fine so far and I had a stock nsw on 6.0.1 i think i upgraded that to 6.1 and then i got my sx thing installed etc everything so far works fine except for my crappy SD card I had gotten off groupon / and the external drive I had with probably 60 backups at least were in root then placed into a second sub folder ( folder/xci/gamesinsidehere.xci) still did nothing for the scan loop.

Not sure how long 50-100 games is to load on average with a usb 3.0 hdd or usb drive on 2.0 port any input would help. 5+ minutes to scan files seems like its too long. i think maybe 45seconds 1.5 minutes would be the most it would take to process titles like that

seems its finicky with what drives its going to take and not enough resources to say which ones do and dont work or why. :( making progress tho. i see they are releasing an online only RPG game on the 20th thats kinda lame online only - bleh unless its free like fortnite seems not cool

I had a few questions being an sx pro user.
Regarding fuses, I don't use AutoRCM and have booted into OFW offline. Does this burn my fuses at all or does it only burn when I update?
Also, with having a (currently) non-banned console, should I still be updating through ChoidujourNX or are there other safe options I can use?
Thanks in advance!

The only way to install files over 4 GB with Fat32 is network install.

Yes, you can. You can split the nsp files using SplitNSP on Windows. Then just copy the files to your SD Card and install them using Tinfoil like you would any other NSP: https://gbatemp.net/threads/legal-nsp-splitter-for-fat32.520213/

Keep in mind that I haven't personally tried this, but it should work just fine.

See above...

Nice didn't know that.

I have a question about the Switch itself. I bought mine at a pawn shop used so I don't know everything about all the parts included. I've got something that looks just like this

I read that it's a charging grip sold seperately for $29.99 and it charges your joycons via usb c cable. But mine has no usb port? Is there one that comes free with your Switch that looks like that (on the left) but doesn't charge?

Yes the one that comes bundled with the switch is the standard non-charging grip. The charging grip is sold separately

Ok so the only way I can charge my joycons currently is to have to connected to the Switch and the Switch connected to the dock right?

I use sxose 2.0.1 with stealth mode. Also i am used to keep wifi on just for ftp file transfer. Today i accidentally hit exhop and an error came out. In this case, the stealth mode blocked the connection to eshop keeping me safe from ban?

im on 5.1.0 with sxos, and want games that require 6fw...
what should i do?
update via choidujour?
restore nand and update?
or use tinfoil?
ty.

can i buy proper games ie smash, fortnite, or whatever else legitimately but also get cfw for singleplayer games? without getting banned from online?
so if i wanted to play fortnite, id play regularly, but if i use cfw to play a singleplayer game beforehand, would nintendo detect something and ban me?

Someone might correct me and say there's some way but as far as I know if you go online anytime after using CFW you get banned. You'd probably need two switches if you want to play online and use CFW.

heya quick question here,

i've recently got banned from using the eshop and other online nintendo services due to what is probably a log send to nintendo (mostly stuck to emulators). i was wondering if i can use my nintendo account on a new switch console without getting that console banned as well. i've already removed the old switch on my nintendo account via the website and i have factory resetted my console (while offline) so it will no longer contain the profile linked to my nintendo account. does anyone know if there is still a risk getting banned on the new switch? i plan to buy the nintendo let's go bundle but i gotta check to make sure if i can use my nintendo account on it (bought quite a lot of games on it).

Bought a 4.1.0 switch from my friend, I am planning to install cfw on it. But before doing that, I want to remove his accounts, and I can't do that without updating the system, please help.
Have you tried logging onto Nintendo's website using the linked account?

Fuses are burnt when you turn on a console while running a firmware higher than the fuse count. A list of fuses and their corresponding firmware can be found here. And its safer to update with ChoiDujourNX than online using a hacked system because updating online risks a ban while ChoiDujourNX does not.

Stealth Mode mimics the effects of a ban so rather than keeping people safe, it just delays the ban. Once you disable Stealth Mode, you may be banned immediately. The sole point of EmuNAND is to allow safe usage of FTP.
Hey, im still on SXOS. Is there a reason to change to another CFW yet, i use it mainly for...backups.
If you don't have any issues with SX OS, you don't need to change. However there are some applications that can only be used on other CFW, such as the patched YouTube .NSP with Atmosphere.

Since that account was linked to the banned console, Nintendo will most likely be keeping an eye out for it. As long as you don't hack the new console, you should be safe. But if you're 100% paranoid, you would not use that account on a fresh new system.

cant i just unboot out of cfw? like how u use the special mode for it, cant i just swap out of it and boot my valid games from there?

how do i disable autorcm or uninstall it and get back to the sx os menu boot option where it shows CFW/ORIGINAL/OPTIONS

No. It is recommended to never connect to wifi again after using CFW. You either need two Switches or go legit with 1 (buy your games), or go CFW (without playing online) with 1 those are your options. Nintendo can detect you've used CFW if you go online even if you reboot out of it. That's why if you pay attention to new posts on GBATemp people are saying they're getting banned all the time.

You might get lucky and make it awhile even months but eventually you'll probably end up banned.
