ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

I've got a little issue with my save file. I'm using it for quite some time already and I think I've edited it previously (when Welcome amibo wasn't released yet and I was running a Windows machine) with an .exe app. Now with my iMac I'm using your web version and it works fantasicly. because I used the windows app before I'm not sure on when and on which tool this issue occured.

I happen to notice that I only have 9 villagers in my town and no one moves in. Checking stuff with your editor revealed some weird info.
1st. There is indeed a missing house (house 8)

2nd. I cannot add building 8 as it's greyed out

Is there anyway to enable this building to be available again?
If not, it's not a real big deal as the game just runs fine but I'd like it if I can get my 10th villages back.

I just started using homebrew and I have a few questions. It says i can add Holden/Filly as villagers but on the list when I edit a current villager, only filly shows up. Unless I'm blind. I also noticed only some of the sanrio villagers are on the list. I have the sanrio amiibo cards so that I don't mind. Also, I don't seem to understand how to edit my campsite for rvs. I select a npc like saharas rv but nothing shows up. Do I have to speak with wisp? Other than this I'm really excited about being able to mod things. Also is it possible to make a npc like isabelle a villager?

Long story short, I deleted a garden.dat file but recovered it with Recuva and the editor says " Invalid AC:NL savegame file ".
Please tell me I can find a way to use that file again I really want to use that map. (It's the first one I ever had but I did something wrong and my savefile got corrupted.)

You answered yourself: It's corrupted. There's nothing to do.

Does anyone know how you can plant perfect fruit trees not native to your town? i mean, it says that you can and i remember it being able to do so but i cant for the life of me actually figure out what the name is under for the trees and not the basket

there should be perfect trees. If not you can plant a perfect fruit and it grows like a normal tree producing all perfect fruit of that kind.

Place a normal fruit tree and change its Flag 1 to Perfect.

hi, i have a question regarding rivers in acnl. i know that it's bacially a rule that you should always have 2 waterfalls and a river but i wondered whether it's possible to just have a waterfall that leads into the ocean and that's it. kinda like on this map but without the second river on the bottom, just the one around the player's house. i already have no rocks or ponds even though that was supposed to be an unbreakable rule as well so i wondered whether i could go another step further lol.

I'm having an issue where all my public works options have disappeared from isabelle except for town hall renovations, I've heard that its because I already have 30 pwp in my town. I've added 3 more using the save editor to have a total of 33 but as of yesterday the save editor no longer allows me to add any buildings or pwp at all. help please! I haven't done anything strange with my town at all because I still want to have as normal a city as possible, I just have a certain modern look for my town i'm trying to get as quickly as possible.

There is a limit of buildings, that's why you cannot add more. Remove them in-game.

Its a limitation of the game not the editor. The game will start to scream at you when ya add more than what was programmed to be on there by ninty

Out of Curiosity, two of us were trying to figure out how to apply specific custom patterns from the able sisters to the villagers but we can't figure it out? The flags only apply to which villager holds the custom pattern but not which pattern they wear.

idk if anyone has noticed this or reported this but i was checking my catalog in the game as i was doing some of gracies fashion checks and i noticed that there are some piece of clothings, items, wallpapers and floorings that appear as ???. it shows what im assuming the item should be but the name is ???, it says not for sale and i think the image that is a duplicate. i also noticed that after using the fill catalog cheat the music and paper doesnt get filled up. i tried the cheat again just to make sure it wasnt me forgetting to do it when i restarted my game but it still doesnt fill those two. i thought maybe it was something with the checksums.. but anyways, maybe is there a way to fix it?
