This is kind of pointless. Smash in and of itself is unlikely at all to be the final game and will likely have a sizable patch at launch as we're still well away from launch and they're almost certainly not yet gold. You have a dubiously working product that will need further downloads that won't go live until launch digitally or require a full cart dump which won't be out and about for a while yet.

then you have slightly dodgy people like them, depends who buys it tho

Those are patched units, and also would still need a titlekey as the game won't boot. They're not really useful for you to be a pirate.

the bundle just released today, and it includes a download code that currently just downloads the preload, which doesn't have a titlekey
if you dont mind, what did you use to install the nsp? I used Pragmas cracked SX OS .nro and it crashed and corrupted, did you use tinfoil?

WHAT?! I tried to use that, but i have a downloaded copy, does nut have a built in converter?

Nut is the software that created the NSX standard.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

To update the .NSX (which is not a real file extension because no tools require it), you will have to first convert it to .NSP format, then unpack the .NSP. Then either you can open the .tik file in a Hex Editor and add the titlekey to line 180 once its been dumped or decrypt the .NCA files with the titlekey. Either method involves repacking the contents into either multiple .NCA files or a single .NSP file.

You could be a masochist and do that, or you could just use: Nut; or Doge (uses Nut); or Bobs GUI, to unlock the NSX files?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also, I see some people recommending to rename the NSX to NSP to install. I would highly recommend that if anyone does this, that they delete the junk ticket from their ticket blob to avoid potential issues later.

No issues for me in terms of banning

I meant more along the lines of having a junk ticket in your keyblob and forgetting its there. Or if you try to install the real version later, and the ticket isnt updated and the game wont work and you dont know why.

now a crazy feat would be able to convert from nsx to nsp with out key and then install on a system and bypass the key with a fake key :P

How do I uninstall the ticket?

"Hello everyone, seeing as how there's a new method to derive keys and title keys, I thought I'd write a short, easy guide detailing the steps to derive all of your hard earned keys with Memloader and HACGUI."

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

That doesn't derive titlekeys.
He literally says it in the first line

Should I go ahead? I have all the files, it looks pretty straight forward to me

thats the point, I am very curious myself, but I need some confirmation from others that it dumps titlekeys, I haven't done such a thing and I hope it shouldn't be a waste of time!
Well I would say do it, it's an attempt. Might work, who knows?!
