I am not sure why, but i am losing 3% per 5mins while playing the game.

I remember it lasting longer yesterday before i CFWd it.

I am currently running ReiNX with AutoRCM enabled, however, it is the same as RajNX too.

I went into hetake loader, and at the bottom, it shows -400ma charge...so i think the battery is fine, but while playing in handheld mode, it is losing 3% per 5mins.

That's about 1551.6ma discharge per hour, which doesn't look correct.

Maybe your battery is at fault (from wear?).
Have you tried gaming in OFW again to compare? Also know the type of game + brightness setting might drain more.

But in Hekate mode, it drains 400mah, shouldnt it be high there too? As i took a nand backup yesterday that took about 115mins 20-25% battery only.

I havnt tried to game in OFW as i do not have a jig and i am waiting for it to be delivered.

What game are you playing?

I tried OFW now, same thing lost 3% in 5mins while playing Mario Odyssey.

That's it! Some games require more battery to run as they are graphically demanding. At best you can have 3 hours play from those before you're low on battery.

Are you sure? That sounds pretty less, i remember it was lasting longer.

Well I'm talking from experience since I play BOTW most of the time. Besides you could google it and get some estimates. Like I said battery gets old over time so there's that too.

no, some games just notoriously drain the battery. some because so much is going on, some because they're lazy ports that work with 2-4k graphics that are downscaled (but still require all the damn computing power to be used).
mario is no botw, but 2,5-3 hours sounds about right.

potentially you were playing at lower light setting/airplane mode before.
if you have wifi on, maybe you're playing somewhere where the signal isnt as good.
also potentially, maybe you have backgroun modules running like that ftp crap, cheat engine or background music?

I do remember now that back when i completed mario, i was on 4.1.0 and wifi off, and it was essentially vanilla, could that be the reason why it lasted more?

I played Starlink, Hollow Knight, Crash bandicoot and Chasm with only 1 charge and there is still 20% battery left with ReiNX, 5.1 and AutoRCM.

The only thing that would occur to me would be that you let complete 1 cycle of charge to stabilize the battery. Deactivate the AutoRCM and let the battery die, then return it to full charge and you will have leveled the load cycle.

It really depends how much time you spend playing a given game. I suppose you had small bursts of play sessions?
