Using .pbp (EBOOT designation is less descriptive and might confuse people) not that I personally think that that makes any difference.
53 FPS in menu in Chrono Chross, and yes, the sound stutters there.
But then - I've played the game on other ARM platforms before (Below Tegra X1 capabilities, but not by much, and this was always the case with pcsxrearmed. Will try it on a more recent phone platform, give me a few minutes.) So at least thats not Switch specific.
edit: Tested it on a 2 year old phone (32 bit arm) with a current Retrarch (pcsxrearmed) build, and the menu ran at 60 fps, so yes - this is probably something that would be fixed by attaining dynarec.
Also - even m4xw still answering low effort "what is best" questions, is a real kick to the downstairs area. Two of which are on the famous "dont bother - because they certrainly didnt bother" list of the ones getting repeated a dozen of times, every week".
To add insult to injury - part of my answer given was "you didn't even read a thing, did you?" to which the freaking person replied "thanks for your service, but what is best, and in what folder do I...?"
There is no shame (or brains) anymore.
And if you spell that out - then some people want to defame you for it, by calling you names (mostly crazy) for simply refusing to act in a PC fashion, faced with an entire barrage of exploitative behavior. And by grouping together trying to censor your criticism of their behavior patterns.
Let me spell this out for you once more - you are ruining it for everyone. (Because people will get tired of serving you like you be godking or something.)
How desperate do you have to be to "leave no one behind", when you keep repeating this pattern ad nausium? If the same people come up with better questions, attend to them - just, please, refuse to let them become individuals that walk through life asking "whats best" and "in what folder do I..." questions. If they are old enough to take part in HB communities, and pirate the living substance out of their consoles - let them learn, that they have to take on responsibility, when it comes to trying to understand things. And that the developer of something or rather and his five internet buddybuddies will not be there to play individual learning platform - for every single one of them.
Also - the part, where you tell them the answer - but they still want to do something else, because they think that would be fun - quite infuriating. (It would be great, if they come to a solution on their own in a way you have never thought about. They dont.)
And please - if you think that you might do something wrong, that might have actual consequences - come forward and ask your question (maybe apart from "which firmware should I, and should I update, I ask because I like to play new games" (personal decision, now handle it without making a poll) - make it, more to the point, please), no one will be miffed to help you if there is an actual need or potential consequence.
But the consequence of you not trying to read up on the simplest RTFM (whats a manual?! said the milenn...) question, is just you not having read the manual. Thats it. Nothing else of consequence is happening here.
And its not even that we (well I) want to punish you by having to read a thing. We want you to learn to use google (or duckduckgo, or...). Do research. Assess problems on your own - getting to solutions that are already well documented, and actually fact based. If you go through the rest of your life asking your anonymous internet buddies "whats best". Something is seriously wrong.
Like "media literacy" not attained, seriously wrong. With your generation they missed to teach you in school - future generations, will have that on their curriculum (thing the teacher goes by - when he/she reads up on what to teach you).
Its a simple concept. Do something on your own. Or at least try to. If you fail, or get stuck, or are afraid of ruining something - ask. But please dont bother people, because you cant be bothered to even try.
Also - for the 10th time, there is no "best" thing in most cases in life. Its all perspective - and a hefty dose of "self disillusionment" called conformation bias. (= That youtuber telling you "this best product", while holding it in his/her hand smiling into the camera. (If hes telling you the same every week, with different *insert product*. That just serves the function of being a fashion scout. Nothing more.))
Not that there is something to be said against fashion. Well, except that its an entirely made up concept simply invented to drive an industry through overspending (actual economic term, meaning to spend beyond market price), once more, invented by the advertising industry in the late 50s - when they, for the first time told people they should spend to show others their "inner self images" through clothing. Replace that with food selfies, and you've reached 2018.
(Sorry, must be acting crazy again, to even mention those things..
