hey all sorry for the post, ive been using cfw fine on the switch with a 32gb sd card amd have had no problems at all. i upgraded to a 256gb card and now all i get is an error no matter what cfw i try. im just wondering if anybody on this lovely community has any suggestions or solutions

What format do you use on your SD Card? if your 32 GB card is fat32 and the new one is exfat you have to install the exfat update first

I have a 256gb card working fine. did nothing special other than ensuring I had exfat update installed.

Also consider the possibility of a fake 256GB. Depending where you got it from. It's worthwhile to run some tests.

My 32gb is exfst and runs fine. As for the 256gb it picks up in my pc and in the switch in normal mode and shows what it should

Lovely community? You really are a joker huh? Lol

The card works with the switch just fine. It just doesn't want to initiate when booting to custom firmware like hetake and reinx

Uhh.. maybe try replacing your SD files for heckate? Maybe you lost something or something got corrupted.

make sure you have a genuine sd card, not a fake one

h2testw is a good piece of software to check whether it's a fake one or not

I got a 256gb yesterday and it works flawlessly, just like the previous card I used
