Hello all,

I am thinking of buying a new switch and was wondering if i have it on 5.1 and add games and then update them through Nintendo.
if i then turn wifi off will it protect me against a ban?
I know i should do a nand back up.
was thinking of adding emunand and then updating it to 6.0.
I could also use stealth mode in sxos.
Currently have a switch but is banned.

Thanks

Firts. New Nintendo Switch have patches that prevent you to load payloads. So you nerd yo fisrt Look for a switch that supports it

Second.if you never Play online, well you are Good to go. Just if you are using SX OS you can use XCI files and is the most effective way to prevent ban (If you are planning to update your games via official methods)

Hi mate thanks.
I read about patching of consoles and have a list of serial numbers.
I was thinking of keeping my switch on 5.1, adding emunand and updating it to 6.0 but not sure.

But if you get a New Nintendo Switch you cant inject any payload. If you really want to buy a new one, just use that for all your original games (retail cartridges and original eshop games) and use the banned one to your backups

Pretty sure there's plenty of unpatched switches on the shelves. Just have to go browsing.

Also, updating directly on the console is an absolutely bad idea, regardless whether it's an xci or nsp backup. Basically doing anything homebrew related and going online can get you banned. Nintendo's got no chill this time around.
