simple question, do i need to disable airplane mode when i activate sx os pro via network, or will it simply bipass the toggle?
i recieve my sx os package tomorrow and want to be prepared.

also can you use ftp and network installers while keeping airplane mode enabled?

if it's in the dongle, you probably don't need internet.
The second question is kinda obvious. No, you can't. You can, however, use DNS and other stuff to stay "disconnected" from Ninty's servers.

also is it best to use hekate to create a nand backup or does the sx os pro have this feature aswell?
kind of nervous about creating a NAND backup
im using a 256gb samsung u3 micro sd so i have the space

Airplane Mode is designed to prevent any wireless features from working. It does not simply "bypass the toggle". You can also enable Wi-Fi through Airplane Mode but something tells me you're worried about being banned. You can just activate it offline by taking the license-request file on your SD card after loading SX OS to their website which will activate it for you to use. Your other alternative is to setup a DNS server to block Nintendo traffic such as 90DNS.
