Hello, I wanna hack my Switch in the Next months, can Nintendo iPatch my unit ?
Will they Update it?

Is this even considered bending?
Its not that bad right now, but I imagine this getting worse, and as long as I have my warranty.

It's barely bent. I don't think that will affect functionality.
Considering my previous experiences with Nintendo Germany, they will either:
  • say that is not covered by warranty
  • replace it for a new one without even taking a look at it (saves bye bye)
Both cases lead to a non exploitable console.

Conclusion: Keep it, if it bends further either use it as a boomerang or try putting a couple of books, the fridge and a washing machine over it for a couple of days, it will work miracles! /s

Dumb question but...why not try and bend it back?...

Also if it's possible, try to change the back. I have no idea why but some of the backs have a bulge (0w0), and I genuinely thought my switch had a bend at first but it turned out it's just the back shell.

One of the most common switch design flaws.
It happens because the plastic is really cheap, you don't need to send it in because the inside is a-ok.

Mines the same way, ive reseached it a lot, and it shouldnt get worse because the frame inside is metal. Mine has not got worse. Seems to be fine, I would not send it to nintendo, if you must get it replaced id swap it at the store.

I used to change shells on old used phones all the time back in the day. Maybe you can find an OEM shell on ebay or something and pop the internals into it?

True, the problem could be that also the motherboard bends, I've seen Videos where the board had a good bend.
But yeah good Idea, would probably solve it for me.
Currently not worth the hassle but maybe in the future.

Mine is slightly bent. I sent it into Nintendo last year and when I got it back it basically looked the same. They said they “fixed it” but it was still bent. They did keep all my saves intact though.
