So I tried to load Marvel Super Heroes 2 (EU) and the icon appears white, unknown publisher, and SXOS refuses to delete the file from the sd card.
Install simply states "Failed to open file".
I've thrown the file into switch backup loader and it appears to read it as what it's name implies.
I assumed that it may have been a region issue, but since I'm from Australia, EU should be correct.
What am I missing?

I feel like I've been misunderstood.
This is during the INSTALLATION process.
SXOS allows installation of nsp files, so, no. Not incorrectly using nsp files.

Perhaps my post is incorrectly titled. It should read "Failure to Install NSP files"

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

No, Windows.

I'll give that a crack when I get home, but doesn't that just skirt the bigger issue?
I mean, how exactly do nsp/xci files pull up the game icons and publisher details before installation/loading?
If my files are throwing out white screen/unknown publisher, what does that mean?
I assumed they might be corrupt but I've redownloaded multiple times and from multi sources.
If by some miracle they are corrupted files, is there danger to my device in installing corrupt nsp's or will it just throw another error?
I am just confused is all. Has anyone else gotten Lego marvel supers 2 to work?

...the nsp? Deleting the game isn't an issue since it never installs, failing to delete the nsp install file from the sd card through SXOS seems to be a bug that I had assumed was relevant to the overall issue.
If I wanted to delete the nsp, I'm happy to throw the sd card into the computer and just delete it, problem solved. That isn't the problem though.

I will when I get home, but until then, has anyone else had this issue?
I've searched around and haven't been able to find anything remotely close to what I'm experiencing.
If the install does work on tinfoil, does that mean SXOS has some compatibility issues?

White icon happens to me all the time - Bad update or corrupt game. Delete corrupt game from system settings / data / manage

I use tinfoil to install everything - All issues ive had have always been the update file or bad dump of the games. Also, some dlc break the game as well and you will see the white icon on home screen.

Will have to delete and re-install.

So it's just a bad dump? But I've gotten different versions from multiple sources? :wtf: that's even more confusing.

I've fixed my issues with diff dump or manually grabbing update. Update didnt fix it but lets me install with no white icon.

What's the NSP's filename?
Some people report having had problems with long filenames.
Try renaming it to marvel2.nsp
