I installed easeus recently, but it was of no use to me (forced buying it just to do anything), so I uninstalled it. it uninstalled, but it said something like: "the program couldn't uninstall everything, some things must be remove manually." what does that mean exactly? I deleted the left over easeus folder. is that it? is there a way to wipe the computer clean of all traces of easeus even if the app has already been installed? I thought of revo, but doesn't that cost money for uninstalled apps? thanks!

I use CCleaner to get rid of unused files that have been leftovers of uninstalls. Sometimes I double check in the /program files. Not sure if this helps

Programs usually leave some folder and registry files behind that needs to be manually removed, I use Revo Uninstaller Pro for this type of stuff.

thanks. I think I might've gotten. it's in neither location. I did test out revo pro (trial version) and used its database log. I'm not sure if it did anything though as it just zips by too quickly to read anything.

I mean it scan for leftover file for you when you uninstall a program.

this was an app already uninstalled using normal windows. revo seems to have a database for uninstalled apps. I wasn't sure if the easeus trial was pro or normal. I think it was pro, but I don't know if a trial version would be affected by the same database.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
