Hacking Mario kart wii ( Item Wheel hack)???

how do I get this hack I used usb loader gx turned on ocarina and activated the code but when I boot the game and choose the map it just stays on a black screen any help?

There are mutiple Item Wheel hacks.
Also, I would recommend testing that code using a MKW Disc + Gecko OS, Dolphin + Gecko Codes Tab, and Dolphin + Gecko OS (loading codes through sd.raw) to make sure it's just USB Loader GX not making it work.
It's also possible the code is not made for your region. If so, then use MKW Code Generator to port it to your copy's region.
