ok. thanks for answer. Of course I have PS4 Slim in version 5.05, however, I think I will buy a second console with older firmware as a backup for all cases.

No point of getting a 1.76 system these day, 5.05 can do everything 1.76 can do. You can keep this 5.05 offline and use the other one you buy for online play.
I feel that version 1.76 can run the game backups from 5.55 and maybe even from the future 6.0, but otherwise you are right

No it won't , game are still locked by their firmware requirements, you can't run games requires higher than 1.76 on 1.76 system.

I didn't know they made an MSU cart for the Genesis.... I knew about the SNES one and the library for that is rather large but the Genesis one has very few games+1 -
