Homebrew Help Plz, firm patch error after attempted update

So I modded my old 3ds with boot9strap and a recent update caused my 3ds to not be able to boot.

The message I get says
"An error has occured:
Failed to apply 1 FIRM patch(es)
Press any button to shutdown"

I'm still able to boot to GodMode9 though so I figured I just would have to use my backups but wouldn't know where to start.
Maybe I didn't look hard enough but if someone could assist me or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

That's because you updated to 11.8 without doing any research. Just get the newest version of Luma and it should work:

It's alright, but next time do a little search. There are literally over 50 threads for just this issue because people keep making new ones instead of checking to see if others made threads about it first.

Just replace the boot.firm at the root of your SD card with the one from the latest release.
