I've tested this:

Extracted an NCA file, and repacked with the NCA Builder. It installs, but it gives an error when running it.
(The NCA file installs and works just fine before the unpacking and repacking)
So something is still not right I guess....

Edit: I've extracted the NCA file using hactool with the following command:
Code:
hactool -x -y -k keys.dat --section0dir=NCA/section0 --section1dir=NCA/section1 --section2dir=NCA/section2 --exefsdir=NCA/exefs --romfsdir=NCA/romfs --titlekey=<TITLEKEY> <NCAFILE.nca>

What settings did you use with the builder?

See attached image.

I've also noticed that once it's been build, there is no way to unpack it again, since the titlekey is now different (?)
I've tried using the generated Bodykey that's on the output, but that didn't work. Kept saying
Code:
Invalid NCA header! Are keys correct?

Unfortunately my utility doesn't do rights id/titlekey crypto just yet, but it will extremely soon!
Give me about 2 hours or so, I'll hopefully have version 0.2 done by then.

XCI to NSP convertion can gain progression from this app?^_^
why would you through, installing ths nsp requires you have to have around twice the space avaible (one times fro the nsp file the other time for the content of the file) so xci are much more convientent for most non hb uses.

Just when you said installable homebrew in the op it sounded like you could take emulators or whatever other nros and make an nca
