Hi people,

When I create my user on the console I just skipped to link a N.account.

I just went online to update to the latest firmware. Then offline until now...

I have been using cfw and nsp games.
I'm wondering if I will get any banned for going online to create and link a new N.account to my user.

I want to play Fortnite offline and the game asks for N.account to launch.
Anyway I don't know if this game has any offline mode on the Switch version, but I would like to launch the game for testing purposes.

Anyone have experienced this?
Thanks

But if I don't inject any payload, how they know if my console have been modded?

Will it send any information about my nsp games while linking to the account?

If you have a nand backup from before you started installing pirated nsp on cfw, I would suggest restoring that before attempting anything online. Even with that you are still at risk depending on what you've done. Nobody can say what will happen until you just do it.
The second you entered RCM and started pissing around, you pretty much sold your switch's sole to the devil. And the devil can come to claim it at any time. And by devil I mean Reggie. He's watching you.

I don't have a nand backup.
I'm looking for another sollution to link a dummy N.account offline, or somehow bypass fortnite requirement to link one!

There should be any file we can patch or replace on nand with N.account info.

Play Fortnite on something else if you can. Even if you managed to link an account, you'd be banned shortly after going online. Fortnite has no offline single player mode.

I just want to launch the game in offline mode, for testing purposes. Even if it will say on the main menu I need to connect online then...
The problem is that when I launch the game, the Switch asks for a user with a N.account linked and I don't have one.
I need to go online to link an account, and I'm afraid I get banned, even on original firmware.
There is lots of misinformation here and there. Some say we only get banned when playing online, and some say we get banned as we turn the internet on.
I don't know how they check for dummy certs by only turning internet on.

Fortnite does not have an offline mode on Switch. Only BR is supported, no STW on Switch. And STW is online only anyway.

Here's the deal: Your Switch records a ton of information which is what we refer to as telemetry. It captures all sorts of data, most of which we are not aware of. And when the console connects to the Internet, it sends all of that accrued data to Nintendo immediately. Your Switch comes with a certificate which is what enables it go online. Hence Nintendo can easily track what your console specifically is doing. And if they see anything suspicious coming from that certificate, they will ban that certificate. Can you get banned? Absolutely. Will you get banned? Only Nintendo can answer that one.

Here's the kicker: creating a Nintendo Account offline won't work offline because Nintendo's servers won't know its linked to your console so it won't be valid. Getting banned means having to connect to Nintendo's servers at least once with a hacked console. Now you could try DevMenu as Mr. Wizard recommended as it does have an option to link/un-link a Nintendo Account but bear in mind that it is offline and may not work for reasons listed already.

Your other alternative is restoring a clean NAND made before hacking the console if you have one as that has the least chances of causing a ban out of every preventative measure we have thus far since it makes the console look like it was never hacked before. However, if you do not have/made one, then either try the DevMenu option or risk it for the biscuit. No one here is going to tell you that you can't be banned for going online to link a Nintendo Account no matter how low the chances are. If the ban is not instant, it may come in the next wave.
