Add the feature to patch already existing GBA CIAs to modify ghosting and color options?

Amazing tool, thanks! I actually have a NDS Lite, and was looking for a GBA Flashcard and recently tried the GBA VC from the 3DS. But i'm having some problems with three ROMs: Pokémon Emerald (U), Pokémon LeafGreen (U), and Klonoa Empire of Dreams (U)(Mode7). The program cant't find any data on the database for these ROMs. Its not like don't work, i use them on my smarphones and PC (Retroarch) Funny, Retroarch don't display any information about these ROMs. Should i try another ROM?

Also, Pokémon R/S/E had a RTC on original cartridges, do i have to check the RTC box on the program?

This app is deprecated. You should use this instead: https://gbatemp.net/threads/discussion-new-super-ultimate-injector-nsui.500376/

Soon I'll release the final version of it.

Is this okay to use without the WinFormsColor.dll? My anitvirus (that I can't untinstall for a better one without my dad getting angery) picks it up and deletes it, and I can't find a way to recover it.

It's only used to pick a custom color for the banner. It's okay if you dontd use it!

It's more updated and bugs-free

Can anyone explain how I can inject the SMA4 e-World patch? I don't understand about the IPS patch. Any help would be highly appreciated! Thanks.

Look for the patch. Apply the patch to the version 1.1 rom (patching tools can be found at the romhacking website). Use the patched rom with the GBA injector. Enjoy.

Edit: It's best recommended that you use the New Super Injector for better compatibility.

I've tried with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone but the saves don't work. I return to the menu, try to load and there is nothing listed in the 3 slots. I've tried all types of the save modes: SRAM FRAM, FLASH, and EEPROM. Anything else I should try?

Hey @Asdolo, thanks for the amazing software!

I've noticed the new brightness sequence is missing 2E 2E 2E (it goes from 2D 2D 2D to 2F 2F 2F), you can see it here too:

Do you have any research/resources on the SNES dark filter?
It's very slight on most games (white is 242,242,242). Interestingly, MMX2's white is 176,176,176! (official VC, injected rom uses 242)
I've tried decompiling a CIA, but couldn't find a palette map like the GBA ones, so it may use a different method.

Thanks! I had only found the newer beta 27 version to be in non-english, so I had given up on the New Super Ultimate Injector. But when I found an earlier version, beta 26, in English, everything worked out fine. Also found a good tutorial which on gbatemp, there wasn't one listed.

You can change language to english in: tools/options

Say I've been playing one of these roms on a visual boy emulator. Is there a way to bring a save file over after I inject it?

I tried using the Nsui early today, but it wasn't in english. So I just used Ultimate VC injector
I've been playing Yugioh gx duel academy for a while now, and it'd be a pain to redo it from the start, lol.
Also I only read how to back up saves not how to upload them, or did I miss something?

Yeah, the default language in beta 27 NSUI isn’t English anymore for some reason, but it can be changed in the settings menu. However, if your game saves and loads correctly using the Ultimate VC injector without using a save patch, there’s no reason to inject it again with NSUI.

The section you’re looking for is “Restore GBA VC Saves,” but it works just as well for injecting saved games from an animator. This link should take you to directly: https://3ds.hacks.guide/godmode9-usage.html#restore-gba-vc-saves It doesn’t matter what the name of the save file is, and you don’t need to mess with the title id stuff. As long as your saved game is in .sav format, it should work. (If it’s not in .sav format, we can fix that.)

Awesome. Thanks.
I had some problems earlier, but I just needed to update my GDM9.
And I figured out how to translate NSUI; thanks to you.
I noticed it had a spot for ips patching. Does that mean I could play some of my GBA ROM Hacks?

Yes. You can either patch your ROM before injecting it (you will need to add all of the game info and icons yourself, since the database does not contain hacks) or you can load a vanilla ROM and select an IPS patch to be applied during the CIA creation process. I like this way better because the data from the unmodified game is found in the database and loaded automatically, so you only need to change a couple of things.
