Hacking Deliver SX OS payload with NX loader using android possible?

greetings,
as the title states, i've tried once with my android (using USB-C to USB-C cable) but NX loader doesn't recognise the switch on RCM
tried searching the tube and threads but cant find any infos on this (i might missed out, though)
is there anyone here successfully load SX OS via NX loader?

According to the sx page the payload launcher has been tested with nx loader on android so the issue is your phone/cable.

What phone do you have? Does it support otg? Can you loaad other payloads with nx loader?

Yes, NX loader is working perfectly on Nvidia shield tv. I used Nintendo switch pro controller USB cable to connect shield tv to Nintendo switch.

Was doing it before my dongle arrived. You need an otg adapted. Eg the one that comes with the Samsung phones

Mine works great with a USB-c to USB-c cable. Make sure otg storage is enabled

my phone currently doesn't recognise the RCM device, so the storage prompt doesn't pop-up.
i think i need to purchase better cable first.

On mine I actually have to go into my settings to enable the otg, it's not a pop-up. In my advanced settings.

I suppose its in the USB configuration set to MTP (media transfer protocol)?
I cannot find any setting with 'OTG' word.

s7 edge, android 8, no rooted

only rekado works 2-3 times... most of times only gives me "sending payload failed at offset 65536"

I'm using the same phone with Samsung's included otg, works every time.

Yeah something's off I use the pro controller cable, haven't tried any others

sorry for the late update guys
i got another cable and NXLoader been running fine delivering payload from android
got some conclusions though :

1. turns out my older cable works, but ONLY when used on certain direction (it's not reversible). so before buying another cable, you might want to try reversing the cable first.
2. the longer the cable the longer the payload delivered
3. using combination of USB-A to USB-C with OTG adapter (the one which convert USB-A male to USB-C male) works reversible, connecting the OTG adapter either with the switch or android makes no difference, it just works everytime.
4. just for information, using moto z play (v1) running OS android 8.0.0 works. there have been reports that certain OS or smartphone doesn't work.

Brilliant. I never thought of doing that and have two I use mostly for YouTube TV and Plex. Would be much more convient than running upstairs to use a PC. Thanks.

Can you tell me how you were able to select the primary payload? I sideloaded NXLoader on my shield tv and everything works up until that point it freezes when trying to browse to select a payload

Download SX tools from https://sx.xecuter.com and use it instead of NXLoader.
