Hacking Question Devmenu with sx os on 5.1.0

Hello, been trying to get devmenu working on a 5.1.0 console for a couple hours. I'm using Pokemon quest, and I've tried layeredfs through sx os, hekate, and hekate using the old layeredfs, when I launch Pokemon quest, I get an error and the software closes. The only thing I haven't tried is installing Pokemon quest to nand instead of sd. I've tried two sd cards, a 64gb exfat, and a 32gb fat32, any suggestions?

Try removing your sd card before you download the demo.

That's what I did, and it ended up working after that. So it's important that it's installed to the nand. Thanks for the info and response.
