I'm sorry for the bad title, I pressed the enter button too soon.
Basically, I'm trying to connect Filezilla to the WiiU, but it wont seem to connect no matter how much I try.

This is the error that appears:
Status: Connecting to 192.168.1.68:21...
Status: Connection attempt failed with "ETIMEDOUT - Connection attempt timed out".
Error: Could not connect to server

I'm sorry for the lack of information.
Which one would be the right one if I have CBHC installed? I have the mocha version of Everywhere on my SD card.

Thank you for your quick response! :D

Oh ok!
Could you by any chance send me the download for it through link?

I might sound dumb asking this, but can the computer's firewall also be a reason why it won't connect?
Sorry I have mocha on my wiiu so don't have the haxchi version. The firewall may also cause issues but like I said the haxchi version only works for haxchi cfw. And the mocha version only works for a wiiu with Mocha.

It's okay. I'll try out the Haxchi version and hoping this might be the answer to my problem. :)

Still, if you using 5GHZ wifi on your router, try switching to 2.4GHZ. The OS may not matter but I notice that using ftp with my systems seem to work only when i switch from 5GHZ to 2.4GHZ. I dunno why and I find it bothersome but it's how i been able to get ftp working.

Thank you to everyone that has helped out so far. :)
So now my computer and WiiU are in the same network, and the router is at 2.4GHZ. Unfortunately, it still doesn't connect.
I've pinged the WiiU and this is what I got as a result:

Pinging 192.168.1.68 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.1.90: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.1.90: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.1.90: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.1.90: Destination host unreachable.

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.68:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss)

Does anybody know why if I can't connect to the WiiU why I'm still getting a 0% loss?

Sidenote: I'm honestly thinking it might be my WiFi router's firewall blocking the connection. I turned off my computer's firewall and also the virus protector to no avail.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
