Hacking Question Licence transfer for sx pro

If your switch breaks and you get a new switch the old sx pro dongle licence will not work and requires a new sx os licence my question is how would you activate a new sx os licence on your old sx pro dongle?

Is it even possible since the dongle has the old sx pro licence embedded in the dongle?

The dongle works on unlimited number of switches, I activated it on mine and my friends, of course it was a waste of time since he can't use the dongle without coming over to mine to activate it everytime, but someone with a replaced/refurbished switch can use their dongle with their new switch.
If you just purchased a licence on it's own then as far as I know your out of luck and need to purchase another or just get a dongle.

Ok thank for the information but the question still needs to be answered how to activate a new sx os licence on the new device using your old sx pro dongle? plus i can't see how you used the sx pro dongle on two devices to play games? as your licence is tied to your switches footprint id?

Same as always, plug the dongle in and when it connects online it will generate a licence for that console, or the normal manual way aswell, after plugging in the dongle, upload the created fiile to xecuter site and they give you a new licence.
The dongle doesn't contain a licence, it gives you files that will activate and give you a licence.

The same exact way sx os is activated. The dongle will do the same thing no matter what

So what your saying they will give you a new licence for your new device free? we are talking about a licence transfer here i think you guys are getting confused

Ok i can see there is some misunderstanding, i may have worded it wrong. You can still use your dongle on a new switch but that alone will not work fully, U need to purchase 1 Licence per switch.
In the case you buy a new switch you would have to purchase a new OS licence and then you can carry on using your dongle.

You could try contacting Xecuter about transferring your licence over to your new machine, but likey they won't or it might not even be possible for them to do that with the way they have their system laid out.

2 ways. First way is online, you download the file from their website and put it on your sd, load up the switch with the dongle attached and activate it online on switch.
2nd way is the same, you download file from xecuter and put it on your switch with dongle plugged in, that will create a file that you then upload to xecuters site. once uploaded it gets verfied and then you get the licence download that you put on your sd card and your good to go.

I misread your comment, The above methods is if you buy another dongle package.
Of course if you buy a licence on its own then you just put the code in and your done.

You boot into sx os with new switch and it asks for your licence code, you just put the code you were given in and it will activate it....this requires wifi on
