If you have a modded 3DS you can use Thenaya to make your own Amiibo

It does work on o3ds with the nfc reader from nintendo, I used it myself.

n2elite is the best by far. I'm very happy with it and now it even comes with cheat codes.

I prefer to have my amiibos on nfc cards, its a lot easier to have something tangible in front of you, a physical card, and you know whats on it.

I have them all in a book, how fun is it to look through 200 amiibos to find the one you are looking for? Its pretty easy for me.

So that is like having an amiibo without actually going out & buying one? Like you can use this for say BOTW & get the amiibo stuff? :o Am i reading this correctly?

If you have a cell phone with nfc, you can use tagmo to write your amiibos to nfc chips

has up to 200 bins but instead of cycling through with the button I also have the reader which has a menu that comes up on the pc and shows me all of them and i just click it and it becomes that one. if that makes sense.
