Homebrew Will using CFW ban me from online?

Hey, I'm new here. I've been thinking of adding CFW to my 3DS XL, but I'm a bit scared that I won't be able to play online. Can anyone please answer the following questions so I don't make any stupid actions?
1. Will I still be able to play online on any games that isn't pirated? (So basically just some regular cartridges that I have)
2. What do I need to do to stay safe from getting banned?
3. What is the cheapest way for me to homebrew my 3DS?
4. Is Luma CFW the only CFW available?

2. Do not play any leaked game online, before it's release date.
3. DSiWarehax+seedminer method.
4. No. There's also Rei-Six, which I now use instead of Luma.

You have to pay for a DSiWare app.
There's a guide on how to install CFW, and should contain a list of DSiWare apps.

Oh ok. Well I do have 50 bucks in my wallet so I should be fine.
