Ok, I know that this is probably spelled out somewhere else but if I can save someone a little panic I feel that it's worth it.

SX isn't kidding about the charging of the dongle. If it goes dead (after approx. 5 uses) and you are in auto RCM, the switch will literally NOT power up. I tried holding the power button for 20 seconds, nothing. It wasn't until I charged the dongle for 15 minutes that it worked. When I did that and plugged it into the switch, it came on immediately.

TL;DR - if your switch won't turn on and you are in auto RCM, charge the dongle for 15 min and plug it back into the switch.

of course it won't turn on no matter how long you press the power button... AutoRCM mode puts your Switch in a recovery mode. It won't turn on until you send a payload to the system.

If the dongle is out of juice, all you need to do is connect the dongle with a micro usb connected to a usb port and wait for like 5 or 10 seconds. That's all.... and not 15minutes... ¬_¬

You could also use a usb cable and send a payload from your pc. Btw, this is why I don't really like the idea of autorcm, it's too bricky if you can't send a payload and just want to play in ofw.

I am sure 15 min is exaggerated, but 2 minutes in a PC USB port did absolutely nothing. Just an FYI.

It does, I totally agree. I'm going to disable this mode and just try to keep it charged and in sleep mode.

It's also an initial step to take, which is one easily missed (charge the dongle for a few secs in OFW on it's first time use upon receiving it)

Only crashes i have heard are random ones when exiting a game and going back into the Album (when docked). I have haven't had mine docked and there have been zero crashes, or error messages.

If you're feeling left out of the Switch-crash fun, just fire up the emulators and start messing around for a couple minutes. You'll be enjoying crashity good times in seconds, trust me.

I'm referring to xci dumps. Emulators don't interest me and the switch homebrew is in it's infancy, so is it's bound to have issues.
