Hacking Error CE-36434-0 but take space on HDD

Hello,

I tried to install an update for a package. Unfortunately at the end of the installation I had an error CE-36434-0. I think this error is caused by a bad signature of the pkg.

However, the update still takes me space on the hard drive. There was no revert change.

What are the solutions available to me?

- Find the functional update and install it over the previous pkg?
- Another way to get to uninstall the pkg?

FTP in and delete the folder of the CUSA is matching the PKG you installed.

Were you able to solve it? Tried to install Driveclub update did the same thing took 15gb but looks like I installed the wrong region and now when it gives me the same error

Install the pkg again..it will ask that the pkg is already installed and if you want to install the pkg again, choose yes and it will start to install but the progress bar wil not move, press the PS button and go to storage, you will notice size of the "others" in application has been reduced.

Just wanted to say, I was experiencing the same error and my issue ended up being that I was creating both the App & Patch FPKG's, and then applying the Keystone to the App BUT I was using a 3.38 version of the orbis-pub-gen EXT with the Add Keystone GUI v0.2 and an older 2.89 version of the orbis-pub-gen EXT folder to build the packages. One I got them all on the same 3.38 it worked without issue.

in the notifications tab there will be an option where it says the game or update has failed to install. click options then cancel and delete.

That's the way I do it, too
The other way is:
- With FTP browse the "user/appmeta" folder and find for your CUSA
- Delete everything (the whole CUSAXXXXX folder)
