Hacking Discussion LA Noire doesn't work with SX OS

All games I tried so far work great, but the entire console completely freezes when I launch LA Noire (BBB).. I have to hold down power button and start the Switch again.

P.S. I did update it when it asked me to update (also updated all other games that work great, don't care about getting banned).

Maybe because LA Noire need to download some data from Nintendo servers. And you can't connect to Nintendo Servers with empty xci header certificate

dont think so, because LA NOIRE does work with layeredfs in airplane mode..

Same for me, every roms works, except la noire... black screen just after the usual double logo "licensed by nintendo" & "switch"

Yeah, you can.. As mentioned above I downloaded every update for all games.. I even bought DLCs for Zelda before selling my physical game and I downloaded them with BBB release and updated the game and all works fine.

Yeah, i'm wrong, I though it was a "in game" connection... But not it's like a update.

Same here , i do remember an early reviewer mentioning LA Noire did not work , along with maybe two more , that was after testing almost 200 titles.
Cannot get it to work .

Yes, people are still reporting about having problems to load a backup of L.A. Noire with SX OS.

Does the game even boot if you havent updated it? Mine needs a software update to boot it, and it boots to a black screen after the update. Also why is the update 13 gb

There are various assumptions about this. Supposedly, it is cheaper to offer the 13 GB per download, as to use the more expensive 32 GB cartridges.

It's the type 2 carts. So far 6 titles are type 2 . TX will knock it's ballix in.
