Mario, a Plumber in time.

So I'm planning on making a rom hack of smb2 where you play as 1 of 4 Mario's:

Modern: Super Mario 64 - Super Mario Oddyessy
Classic: Donkey kong - Super Mario world
Paper: Paper Mario - Color splash

However, One of the character's I'm replacing (toad) has stumped me on who should take his place,
Hence why I'm making this post

for reference here's who everyone is and why

position list:
SMB2 Rom hack Reason
Mario Modern Mario Mario is Mario, case closed
Luigi Classic Mario Classic Mario jump's higher then modern Mario, (assuming matpat didn't lie about galaxy and 64 having a shorter jump)
Peach Paper Mario In paper jam paper Mario is given the ability to float (and Luigi isn't WTH?!)

Here's what every poll vote means:

Alpha dream Mario : This Mario hails from Super star saga to Paper jam, some people say alpha dream Mario is in a separate cannon but at the same time, there never been anything proving nor, disproving this
Square enix Mario : This Mario hails from Super Mario RPG Once again is sometimes considered to be in a separate cannon since Nintendo didn't make this Mario RPG
Super show Mario (Cartoon) : This Mario hails from Super Mario Bros. super show, definitely a different canon, though would we really need to steep that low?
Captain Lou albano : This Mario hails from Super Mario Bros. super show live action bit, I don't know why but the idea of Captain Lou albano running and jumping along side 3 game Mario's just seems totally wrong, yet totally right in my head

Replace toad with modern Mario and use baby Mario on top of regular Mario : With Odyssey's release Mario move's a hell lot faster then before which fit's toad in SMB2
and as for baby Mario replacing modern Mario, it would king of make scene though i wonder if his power up would be Yoshi or MB Mario? eh who know's (maybe ill make a second poll regarding this)

Hope fully i finish this before Hacks and fan games E3 this year

Well, considering how Toad is useless in Super Mario Bros. 2, I would assume that by default, you only need to compared them four, and pick the most useless of them all to replace Toad.
Now based on this statement, I would probably pick Captain Lou Albano since I have no fucking clue of who he is or what he did, making him the ideal candidate for this experiment.

To be honest, I played with Luigi or Princess Peach most of the time.
They were both relatively fast and jumping nicely, so Mario and Toad were never used.
