I'm just gonna say this as stab in the dark but does using layeredFS to play a game hide it? If so could you then play online? Cause obviously with mememenu and SX OS backups you will be banned immediately. Just asking for curiosity not to be annoying or a ratkid

Well switch eshop works similar to 3DS' in that your ticket is console unique (except its more excessive on switch) because its got your console data in it and its signed. But signatures mean nothing if you patch secmon lol.

Well i'm a noob and an average joe, don't know what patching secmon mean, but i thrust you, so you mean that this way we could have nsp files that we can install with boginstaller?

Why then no one is making nsp dumps like others are doing with xci?

Sorry if dumb question, trying to understand hard things with a superficial knowledge is impossible i know, just a way to grasp what's happening in the scene.

Its just as bad as using backups through SX OS. You're basically not playing the same game that the Switch installed. We don't know what the ban risk is, but its not optimized for safety in the slightest.

How come we cant just load xci Files Like a cartridge the TX way?

Well, someone probably can but there's more use in a title manager over a way to emulate cartridges. First off, the Switch can only read one cartridge at a time so you can't swap that quickly between backups. If they're all pre-installed, then you don't need to access a second menu to change the backup because they'll be ready on the home menu.
