It will get released when it gets released, no point in speculating on the release date.
Although the current release date is speculation, numerous people made claims that the original release date for Atmosphere was June 15th. After some prodding, it turns out that this was the case. Although this information is useless in the current situation, its important to differentiate between what is fact and what is fiction.

True enough, although stuckpixel also stated that deadlines are meant to be broken

Just look at thier Discord. They havent even got the SD Card Driver working.

Development isn't linear, so they can have a lot of stuff working without the SD driver. They might just need the SD driver working to be much closer to a release, who knows? I would guess that the release is a couple months out though.

I'll say we wont see it until September.

And thus September will be the month of reckoning for Nintendo kicking our asses with 'Pay To Play Online'.
How wonderful for Nintendo getting a piggyback ride with the cash-cowing followed by Microsoft and Sony.

Gotta pay for online servers somehow. To remedy it, we're also getting modified NES titles with online functionality and the online subscription is only $20 a year ($35 with up to 7 other people for Family Membership). A lot cheaper than PS Plus and/or Xbox Gold and they don't even have a Family Membership either. So Nintendo aren't actually getting that much out of it unlike MS and Sony.

Also, Nintendo made Switch online free for more than a year and even delayed the online service for many of us to keep using.

I would be happy with paid online if some older multi-player titles could make use of it. I for one dream of a day where the Battle Network games have online multiplayer.

Yeah I get that. Now if there were more Multiplayer engaging games I'd pay but I'll stick to offline for the time being.

Will you idiots lay off. 'they haven't even got the SD drivers working yet' have you read the thread? It was working but edge cases further down the line has caused unstable drivers. They're working on it FFS and if you've ever developed anything more than a fever then you'll know this is normal.

It'll be out when it's out. There isn't a date. Deal with it. Buy Xecuters solution if you want.

Once again :
I would make the argument that since kate opted to remove her name from maintaining the Atmosphere repository, she is not tracking its progress as those actively coding it. Either way, this is irrelevant as regardless of whoever is right, June 15th is no longer the expected release date.

Anything anybody's posting here has already been written ten times and then copied by ten people and their brothers and sisters but I'm lurking and checking back now and then to see when this thread can reach a hundred pages of speculative bullshit.
