Hopefully this hasn't been asked too many time, I have not been able to find a solid answer so far.

Currently i'm on firmware 2.0.0 & would like to stay there if possible. I know it's possible to install the Exfat driver for 2.0.1+ but i'm wondering if anyone has managed to install the driver on 2.0.0 (I've seen mention of the driver being on Zelda, but has anyone managed to get it to work with <2.0.1?).

However....with Atmosphere one can hope for an easier five click install solution? Or just update the emunand? I'm not touching either Atmosphere or SX until the first line of defense goes down. I'll be in the waiting room in the hospital waiting for the first wounded to wake up so I can have a chat.

what is the benefit to this?
i assume it is to run backup right?
but you can't run backups without SX OS and SX OS supports split files

i would rather just DL split file versions of games i have no checked ISO sites yet i can imagine that if they are not there already they will be really soon

also i wonder if we will be able to update from a backup
like if i am on 2.3.0 and i want to install SX OS to 2.3.0 to play SMO so will i be able to install 3.0.1 update from the .XCI to play SMO?
or will i need to use the physical card to update?
i probably won't do this because i want o remain as low as possible and will wait a while to see hoe emunand pans out 1st

but i can not really see much benefit to risk installing exfat drivers when SX OS will run split .xci files anyways
i rather either split files myself or just DL them already split, unless i am missing some other benefit to having exfat here?

The SD card speed is a bit better with exFAT on 128KB cluster size, so games will load faster.
Saving a bit of time and hassle when setting up games, because splitting is another step.
Less risk of accidently updating because the exFAT update nag won't pop up anymore.

These are little improvements but installing the driver is easy and has little to no risk, so either way is oke.

So in the guide, it requests a copy of a cartridge that's on the same firmware as the device. As far as i'm aware there's not a game with 2.0.0 on it. Should a game on a lower firmware work?
I would try a game with firmware requirement 2.1.0 using the CFW method, or otherwise a game with the 1.0.0 requirement. Look up the game firmware requirements on "nswdb". As I have also stated in that thread, this is untested so I wouldn't try the eMMC method before confirming it works, but Im curious to hear about the results.

Alright, I will look into trying the cfw method first.
