Emulation Best controller for Wii64 (installed on Wii u)

Got wii64 on my wii u installed. All works (although some isos are really messed up) i tried to play the isos with my wii classic controller. But it sucks. The analog sticks won't work probally and some buttons make the game crash.

Could you get a player 2 working in Wii64/Not64?

My Gamepad is set to P1.
My wiimote/classic controller is also set to P1 and I cant change it to P2.

I mean I am trying to play a multiplayer game on Wii64 on the Wii U, but both the GamePad and Wii Remote are assigned to Player 1. So both controllers just control Player 1. I would like Gamepad to control Player 1, and Wii Remote to control Player 2. If that makes sense... im just confused how to set this up properly!
