Sure told me the way Reswitched responded to TX's plans to release stuff, and how Kate was talking about how she could make a mod chip, and give it away the plans for free, in response to TX like a month or so ago. So yes, I do believe that TX is pretty much shoving Reswitched to get shit done faster, and actually release stuff. They wanna fuck over TX hard.

I can honestly give a fuck what anyone's opinions are in purchasing this or not because at the end of the day it's that's persons money and they do whatever the hell they want with it.

A computer/phone is something that anyone with a Switch is gonna have. Wasting $30 (or whatever this thing is really gonna end up costing) on a dongle that's never gonna be able to do anything besides it's singular purpose is ridiculous.

Stop saying free. Find a way to deliver the payload for free. I can deliver it with 3 devices I own, but none of them were free. Nor as convenient.

It just would have been a much better move to simply sell the dongle as a customizable solution. No word from TX yet on if it will support alternative payloads like Atmosphere, and why would they anyways? What incentive is there for them to support other CFWs? They've already clearly demonstrated they have no interest in supporting the scene by keeping their CFW closed-source and only providing it on these dongles.

I've been told you will be able to load any payload you want. Be it atmosphere or any other fusee payload. They won't have support for CBFS over USB out of the box, but that is easily supported by someone that knows what they're doing by loading it from microSD instead.

maybe not you in particular, but I have seen a bunch of "omg why are they charging for their device, they are scum".....because they can, and people can simply not buy it if they don't like it

as you may have seen with other systems now days free CFW's are often only released or threatened to be released to destroy teams like TX and make sure they cant profit.......if TX don't release anything, well then your in for a very long wait, this is what I meant by "competition" as usually teams compete and want to get stuff released, if one team will only release in retaliation to cripple another it seems a bit childish

Nobody is delaying anything because of a lack of competition. If they are, don't support them.

You're still gonna be teaching that cousin how to insert an RCM jig, a USB-C dongle, holding the button combo in order to actually boot into RCM mode, etcetera. Not quite "hassle free", and honestly no easier than when using a computer/phone thanks to devs who have simplified the process with desktop GUIs or the web-based Fusee Gelee launcher.
