I want to update an old console. I has 3,4E and old cIOS. Should I upgrade first and then the cIOS or vice-versa with a manual (safe) upgrade. If the later, what guide should I use? Thanks in advance.

I does, but I have a few seconds of output and then blackscreen. If I remove the memory card, it boots into the Wii system fine.
I'm not sure I fully understand the problem you're describing. If you have bootmii as boot2 installed, but you don't want the system to boot into bootmii on startup, you can rename or delete the bootmii folder on the SD card.

Sure, I just find weird it not outputting,

BootMii has a config file that has an option for video mode. It might be set to the wrong one for your region.
