Did you use seedminer?
Seedminer did not exist when you made shadownand and the person originally modded his console....

@NoiD, try to follow https://3ds.guide/a9lh-to-b9s. You may have difficulty because your console has something very non standard, you will need to read through this thread to work out how to achieve basic functions.

If that doesn't work, four options:
  • If you are on 11.3 or less already just follow https://3ds.guide/homebrew-launcher-(soundhax) - easy
  • If you are on 11.6:
  • ----use sysupdater to downgrade to 11.3 or less and follow the above (use FBI to install sysupdater and use 3DNUS to get the right files) and do the above (soundhax)
  • -----or, if you can figure out how to get GodMode9 working, find an archived version of the CTR transfer page to get 9.2 CTR transfer files, then follow https://3ds.guide/ctrtransfer then do the above (soundhax) (note: if you can get GodMode9 working you can probably just do the first thing (a9lh-to-b9s))
  • ------or, (easiest) buy an ntrboot capable flashcart and follow https://3ds.guide/ntrboot
Don't use the seedminer method or the DSiWare hax transfer method or you'll brick.

I hope you didn't overpay for this console cause with shadowNAND it is actually harder than a stock console to get modded and updated lol.

I need to downgrade to 11.3 to remove shadownand and because 11.3 is easier to cfw??

If you dont have CFW on your system. You cannot downgrade your console. You will have to look at the 11.6 options for what ya got.
He does have CFW, but he has shadownand, so he can't easily access GodMode9 etc. Shadownand is based on A9LH, and he can install b9s over the top of it as long as he doesn't use b9stool (used in DSiWare-based B9S installs). If he can downgrade to 11.3 using the fact he already has CFW, he can use SoundHax to install b9s and not need a flashcart. If he can get payloads to work though, of course he can just follow the a9lh-to-b9s page.

I got a cfw instead

I've installed b9s now. I manage to boot to the SafeB9SInstaller payload thru the bootmgr and just followed the guide.
Thank you very much Quantumcat and Shadownand!!
