Incorrect! Well, some of it. Namely, the downgrading. Yes, without NTRBootHax or a Hardmod, you can only do userland stuff, however if you had either of those two, you CAN downgrade with sysUpdater. Despite people saying that you can't, it does work. I tested it myself on my o3DSXL running 11.6, and it was successful.

Doesn't Dsiwarehax and hardmod still work on 11.5 just as it did for 11.4? The text at the top of the OP claims it isn't hackable at all by no means. All it takes is a prehacked 3DS and a $2 Dsiware game and you can hack 11.4 and 11.5 with boot9strap.

Yes, NTRBootHax, Hardmod, and DSiWareHax all work. I would expect a hardmod being able to homebrew a 3DS on any update in the future.

You can use ntrboot (needs a DS flashcart), DSiWare hax (needs a second console already modded), or seedminer (not in the guide, but read the thread in the CFW/flashcarts forum about it)
