I'm on section V of plailects guide on updating b9s. When I go to start godmode9, it crashes and throws up an error. I've tried updating gm9 twice but to no avail. Any advice?
It fixed itself somehow yesterday, after I forgot to put the sd card in and booted, when I did put the card in it worked normally.

Okay, assuming you really got the latest release of GM9, there is no explanation to this exception dump. So, we need to dig deeper.
First, try this nightly build:

If it fails, give me the exception dump again.
Then (that means, even if the nightly build worked for you) try the v1.6.3 release again. If it fails, give me the exception dump again (it may be different).

Okay, dammit. This will be more complicated than I thought. Can you try earlier versions of GM9? Try v1.6.2, v1.6.1, etc... until one works. When we found one that works, we can try to find the problem.

PS. After that, I changed my stock 4G microsd card data to a 8G one, there's no problem now.

BTW, I did backup my essential file on the first time starting godmode9, however I lost it.
Can I remake this file again?

The essential backup is in the S:/ drive (essential.exefs). So, there's no crash with that new SD card, even with the newest GM9 version?

And to answer that question, no. I've never personally witnessed GM9 crash and produce a log dump. Before this thread, I didn't think it was possible to do so under normal user means. Guess that means your next update will include STABILITY INTENSIFIES!!
I was assuming GM9 dumps were akin to Luma3DS crashes.
Now that you've mentioned this, maybe someone should hit up @AuroraWright about implementing something like bkpt on Luma.
