I just managed to download USB Loader GX on my Wii, and it takes a bit too long to load up a game. It takes about 20 minutes to load up Mario Galaxy(USA), and I didn't have a chance to test out other games.
What should I do to make it load faster? In case my modded Wii or USB drive has a problem, I'll list it down.

Wii version: 4.3K
IOS v10 beta53 d2x-v10-beta53-alt with base 56, slot 249, revision 65535
IOS v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52 with base 57, slot 250, revision 65535
Loader GX version: probably the newest since I got it from SourceForge
Homebrew: used letterbomb
USB drive: Sandisk 8gb Cruzer blade with FAT32 format(USB ID 0781 5567)

I also installed IOS236 and a bunch of other weird IOSes(some time ago I installed IOSes in slot 248 and 247/Hermes' 222 & 223 following GAF's tutorial). Can this be a problem?

Instead of complaining you should just make your own loader that boots faster...
Sorry if it sounded like complaining, I just wanted some help. English is not my first language, so it might be different from what I intended to say.
I edited it to make it sound less complaining.

He is not complaining, he clearly has a problem (20min is not normal, it should boot in less than 10seconds) and would like help to fix it. He is not requesting new features or changes in the loader.

What I can see from your setup :
IOS v10 beta53 d2x-v10-beta53-alt with base 56, slot 249, revision 65535
IOS v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta53 with base 57, slot 250, revision 65535
Loader GX version: probably the newest since I got it from SourceForge

1) All the cIOS you installed will not conflict with each other, so you don't need to worry about IOS236, 222, 224 etc.
You only need to focus on the IOS slot used by the loader, which is 249 by default.

2)
Your slot249 is using d2x v10-alt (revision 53).
this is a bad choice, you should replace it with d2x v10 base 56 (revision r52, not the alternative version which is beta, unstable, with incompatibility with hardware and software)
So, this is important to do it.

3) your slot250 is using ... that's weird, you said "beta52" and "beta53" on the same line. I will just assume you followed "Complete softmod Guide" and it told you to install 249-53 and 250-52
If it's r52, then it's fine, don't change it.
if it's r53, then like Previous remark : replace it with r52, base57.

4)
This is probably your issue here : You are using a flash drive instead of a HDD !
Flash drives are VERY bad. They are rarely compatible with Wii and WiiU (all homebrew, not only USBLoaderGX).
Try another Flash drive if you don't have a HDD. But if you can, just use a HDD, formatted as MBR, FAT32, 32k/cluster.

Thanks for helping me out! That beta53 on the 2nd line is supposed to be beta52. Sorry for confusing you. (That means I can leave that alone right?)

Also, is it okay to buy any HDD marked "works" in the USB loader over here? or do I have to do more research on which one I should buy? https : // wiki. gbatemp. net / wiki / USB_Devices_Compatibility_List (sorry for blanks in the link, it says I can't post links since I'm a new member)

Most HDD should work.
(old) USB2.0 has better compatibility than (new) USB3.0, but it's usually easy to fix USB3.0 (edit the loader's setting to use IOS58 instead of 249).

Yes, your slot 250 is good, no need to replace it.

Sorry then I misunderstood what you were saying. 100% my fault

Wait do I have to download the same version as what I downloaded in slot 250? I'm kind of confused.

The instructions on the complete softmod guide are fine, just not which version it says to install.

Select "d2x-v10-beta52" and base "56" for slot 249 instead of using "d2x-v10-beta53-alt". You don't need to redo slot 250.
