Hi gbatemp.

I have just succeeded in installing CFW (Homebrew) on my 3DS by using my R4 SDHC Dual-Core RTS 2016 card.
I used the guide on 3ds.hacks.guide and after i was done with the guide i was proceeding to restore my flash cart, so i tried to insert R4iSDHC Dual-Core 20XX from the list to my Device SD card inside the ntrboot folder and then i started my 3DS and go into ntrboot_flasher and restore my flashcart, but the problem is... I can't use it..

aEverytime i open "Bomberman Land Nintendo" it says "Wrong Data or Firmware expired! Please check NDS Machine data configuration.
I have also tried some of the other Flashroms on the list and one of them gave me the error "Fake Software contact blablabla"

So do anyone have a Backup.bin file for that card or am i totaly out of luck with this card and need to buy a new one in order to play NDS games?

Set the year of your 3DS to 2011 and try launching the flashcart

That worked! Thank you! Now is there any way i can use the card with the right date? Because i won't be able to use some things with the date set to 2011 right?

It worked before i hacked my 3ds with the card Even on 11.0.6.

that’s the downside of these flashcarts, they have a timebomb

Yeah but the weird part is that it worked before i hacked it (was on 11.0.6) and with the newest firmware from the flashcart website. But Thanks for your help, then i need to change between dates. That sux though :)

you can try using YSMenu (a different kernel for your flashcart), iirc it can bypass the timebomb

Could you link me here or PM it

Okay i tried to install a different firmware from another r4 site and now it work without setting time back. I used r4isdhc if anyone have the same error.
