Your monitor is just shit. It can’t do full hd I guess? If it can’t display the needed resolution it will just go into standby

I had that problem in the past too - my monitor could just go to hd ready and it had the same problem

My monitor is a HP Pavilion 22cw -> 1920x1080 60hz IPS.
Also, my TV was HD resolution (1366x768) 50hz and Linux worked well (with 1920x1080 linux shell).

I'm still thinking it's payload problem initialisation (or maybe panasonic driver from eeply is still incomplete)

I have this problem too sometimes, and resolution is limited to 1080p@60hz even on a PS4 pro wich should support much more.

Anyone managed to compile a working kernel supporting gpu hw acceleration for 12XX models? I've tried, but linux doesn't boot at all

My rig is dead so would really love if I was able to use a ps4 as a temp computer.
Steps I am following to compile it on a ps4
1. Install manjaro linux img released a few weeks back, using bzimage released by eeply. Boots but no hardware acceleration.
2. Clone git://Ps3itaTeam/ps4-linux ps4-4.14blahblah branch
3. Extract .config from eeply's working bzimage.
4. Make menuconfig and make.
5. Replace boot bzimage with compiled bzimage at /arch/x86/boot/

Doesn't work. If anyone has any experience doing this. Please help. D
