Good job again Sciresm.
You literally have Thousands rooting for you and the rest of the team behind the switch scene.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys release next.

So question,

Are these dumped files in encrypted form, which results in 1:1 files as if they were downloaded from, say, eshop, and could eventually be handled similar to how nonpdrm is on the vita?

Or are they in decrypted form, similar to how DDD dumped modules on the Wii U and was used by loadiine?

AFAIK it dumps encrypted.

Good progress everywhere.
Anyway, it would be so nice to be able to backup saves.
Though at this pace, I wonder if Atmosphere-NX will support cloud save data backup before Nintendo... /s

This is a step in the right direction. but until we get backup loaders and until we get away for hacks to boot with the system. this is going to be relatively useless. unless you want to start wasting space now!!! JK JK I'm excited to see where this will go.

We already sort of have cloud saves... Moving my stepdaughter'' Nintendo account from my switch to her mom's was a breeze, was done wirelessly, and her save data moved with it. She was able to pick up Splatoon right where she left off. So somewhere in there, Nintendo moved the save through the cloud.

Or it was sent through local wireless.
But whatever the case, you still need to have your old functioning Switch available, as data is not periodically backed up.
If your switch dies, or get stolen or lost... so does your save data for all games.
