Hacking 3DS Won't boot after updating luma

Use the boot.firm in the Luma3DS, and regular version of Boot9Strap 1.3, not dev or ntr.

So I put in both and attempted to boot but I'm still having the same issue. It doesn't boot up and the LED Indicator turns on for less than a second.

You probably had Luma v7.1 and attempted to use Luma Updater to download v9.0 which resulted in the issues you're having now. v7.1 and v9.0 require different versions of boot9strap and as such, in order to properly update, you need to follow this guide: https://3ds.hacks.guide/updating-b9s.

Either that or your SD card became corrupted and it can't read boot.firm anymore.

Most likely you just need to update B9S.

Here is example of file you should have on your SD Card if you have A9LH or B9S. Hope they can help you fix your 3DS.

I just tried this and I installed all the files needed but when I tried booting up the system it doesn't boot as we've seen so far.

U probably got the case of the black screen of death.

Since the system won't power on without an SD either, it's most likely Luma on the system itself has been corrupted and is causing an error on boot-up. Anyway to reset system memory without powering on the system?

If the system doesnt power on without a SD that usually means that the CTRNand was never set up in the first place.

From what I've seen here. Have you tried. Just to make sure. The 7.0.5 luma.bin. The 7.1 boot.firm. and the 8.0 boot.firm files with your console?

dumps folder which leads to an arm9 folder which has 3 crash_dump files
payloads folders SafeB9SInstaller, GodMode9, and Decrypt9WIP
and config.bin on its own

Here's a picture of my 3DS root if that helps.

rename your boot.firm to boot.firm.2
then rename your boot.firm.bak to boot.firm
then try that
