I bought my Switch on the release week back on March, so very first batch, I have used it approximately 70% docked, 30% undocked. I still haven't noticed signs of bending, but I think perhaps I haven't looked hard enough, you know, if it doesn't bother me I just don't notice it.

I guess this is a good thing to check for:

But are you getting some other symptoms of bending?
Does it gets worse after time under normal use, or does it stay so subtle it could go unnoticed?

Haven’t used it in over a month so couldn’t comment. Try and rub your nail over the edge of the screen on the right and see if feels any different to the left hand side of your screen. Aprently the tape they use on the right hand side of the screen is crap to hold it down.

I wonder whether this guy is onto anything:

I'd be interested to know how widespread this issue is. Nintendo seem to be aware of it but are keeping quiet (as you'd expect). I also wonder whether there has been some sort of internal redesign with newer models.

Buy a second switch quick from a place tht doesn’t move stock fast and hopefully it’ll be 3.0.....?

Otherwise buy a new switch, transfer to that one, send in warpy, transfer back when it comes back then return the other switch?

I ll rather keep this one if that gap doesn't affect ur gaming experience that much, it's really hard to find a low fw nowdays, tc think carefully before u send it.

Mine isn't warping too bad right now but I would rather get it solved now rather than have it potentiality get worse.
I thought about sending mine in, and I figure that if I send it in before March (making it the anniversary of the system), they'll repair for free, and they'll tack on an extra year of warranty. Already on the latest FW, so all I have to lose is possible saves, but honestly, it doesn't bother me so much.

seriously, why isnt this a issue to actually harash nintendo? If the thing starts to warp in places where nintendo is non-existent, what would we gonna do? Use the thing warped and see how it keeps bending until it dies? Gash, even a 100 phone doesnt warp like the switch does, and yet people wants all the games from last gen on seitch, ugh, imagine how much warm that thing is gonna get!

What they always do Pinky! Curse over the world!

PS: Been there, done that, X360 RROD in Argentina was a PITA.

The bending can only get worse. Then what will happen if the screen starts to come out and the warranty has ended.
