Update: Solved
Heh...
I think my "New" Nintendo 3DS XL is soft-bricked, and I don't know how to fix it.
I used an r4i gold 3ds plus flashcard to get cow on my system, downloaded some cias, then deleted some demos of some games. (In that order)
I already tried the L+R+A+UP button combo, but that didn't work. It keeps sending me back to the black screen.
Sooooo, help is needed for this massive noob.

I forgot if I do, but I'm pretty sure I used safeb9sinstaller (idk if that gave me b9s). I can't check either since my 3DS is soft-bricked.

I'll try that in a couple hours, as I'm not near my 3DS.
did you put boot.firm on the sdcard?

Try turning on without SD card inserted, if you followed the 3ds guide you should boot up as you should have luma on your ctrnand.

If that works power off and reinsert SD and you should be okay.

Happens to me occasionally.

I used the first boot.firm (I think it was for b9s), then I replaced it with the luma3ds boot.firm.
OK, if you successfully installed B9S, you should be able to dump some stuff by holding Start + Select + X on boot (no magnet). After that, you should have a folder called "boot9strap" on the root of your SD. it should have boot9.bin, boot11.bin, and otp.bin in it. Make sure the latest build of Luma3ds is on the root of the SD. Try to hold start on boot to boot into a luma payload. (They should be put into SD:/luma/payloads) If you can boot into GodMode9, you should either restore a NAND backup or do a CTRNAND TRANSFER.

I tried that, and the blue light just goes on, then turns off.

I'm going to have to try that in a few hours.

Wait, so the light turns off without the SD? That means you have B9S installed and it can't find boot.firm on the CTRNAND. (Which is expected, you can always copy boot.firm to the CTRNAND using GM9 although it is not required.)

I held the Start+Select+X buttons while it was turning on. Nothing happened, (at least visually)

When I just held start while turning on, it sent me to Godmode9. Any possible solutions in Godmode9?

What are your symptoms? Black screen on boot (light staying on)? Try the suggestions in https://3ds.guide/troubleshooting under black screen on boot.
