Hacking Question or Explain: PS4 4.05 , Block update not to accidentally update ADVISE

Any advise on:
Blocking future OFW update.
Not losing 4.05 exploid.

in my router I block it from any wan connections, so it can't go outside.
but I could still use ftp for example. (I do this with my vita)

its posible to connect to internet and than just change the DNS to 11111 etc. I thing we can use FTP but no internet conection and no game updates, true? or is there a better solution?

i'm not too sure, sorry. anyway, it won't autoupdate, you can turn it off in settings. so it's not a big worry in my opinion.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is in I FINALLY figured out a way on 4.01-4.05 to remove the update. I had been trying for months. I hate the update nag. For me the way was installing/reinstalling the 4.05 through safemode and re initializing did finally delete the update and the update nag buuuut you will lose everything including profile so not sure if that is issue for you.

From there you can just host the exploit on your local computer and poof be like me no more update nag.

I had the update nag for months and it was mad annoying.....

I wonder if you can hex edit the file so it currupts the file. In theory you cant update and it will see the file there and not try to download
