Hacking Are PGK files name sensitive?

If I rename PKG files to something more sensible, will they still install and activate correctly using reactpsn?

You don't activate a pkg, you install a license for the title you installed from a pkg, so it's perfectly fine... now, I'm not sure if you can rename the licenses

you can't. the licenses are named after the content id.

Sorry, I know that you need the RAP file to activate. What I'm asking is, say I download a PKG, it is usually a long string of text that makes no sense hdkdndkdjrodid.....PKG

Could I rename that to say mgs3.pkg, install it and then use the non-renamed RAP to activate.
