Hacking Switch KernelHax from 2.0 to 3.0.2

So with a kernel hack what can we do other than cfw?
CFW is just a blanket term for everything you can do. Encompassed in CFW is all of the changes you can make to the system itself, AKA sigpatching, ROM hacks, installing homebrew instead of just using a launcher, the possibilities of CFW are what kernel access is.
What is the diffrence between userland and kernel access?
Userland has access to all of the functions/services needed to run code, such as games or applications, and nothing more. See my above information for info on kernel.
Would emunand also be possible with kernel access?
Regarding Switch, the only way an emuNAND would work is by bypassing the requirements to check eFuses, which can only be blown once (hence them being a fuse). The main concern with an emuNAND right now isn't loading it, but rather updating an emuNAND might blow the eFuses required to load that FW version, and if that is the case you wouldn't be able to load sysNAND.

Not a concern at all if you're both clever and careful.

Any emuNAND solution that jeopardizes that would have to be a very poorly written solution.

wow thanks for your detailed answer :)

it's funny cause emulation is 90% used for piracy

It's funny but most people shouldn't give a shit about games that don't make money to most companies and only feeding greedy douchebags on eBay.

Pirating older games feels less demoralizing than current games. Come back when the entirety of 16-bit and 32-bit games are available without paying 500% the price for a new copy.

Yeah, I know, I pirate old games, I just found it funny.

My dream after getting kernelhax is to enable gpu/3d acceleration on switch in order to run good emulators like ppsspp and dolphin. However I'm disagree to pirate current games. Just for old one.

Imagine to could play psp games through ppsspp emu like:
Metal gear solid series.
Tomb raider anniversary / legend
Crash bandicoot titans / tag team racing
Silent hill shattered memories / origins

And the games through dolphin emu like:
Super mario sunshine
Luigi Mansion
Barnyard
Resident evil 3 / 4 / remake / zero
Spyro series
Crash bandicoot the warth of cortex / Nitro kart

It's looks like the dream come true to play these amazing games portability.

OR...if you're absolutely dying to play these games RIGHT NOW... you can.
Take it easy man it's not necessary to being die.
But I mean it's gonna be great to play these games on switch portability with amazing joy cons.
It's kind of fun.

The left joystick is fine. The right joystick sits in the middle of the right joycon and it sort of sucks.

Piracy piracy piracy :D
Cfw ftw

what do you hope to gain from making this comment? what if the devs who are working their assess off hacking the switch see this and lose motivation to work on it since people like you are just foaming the mouth chanting "piracy" non-stop?

no one gains anything from you saying this, if anything youre hurting the reputation of the hacking community and yourself

How delusional are you?

Piracy chants have been a thing since day one on any console and always will be there. He's also not reliant on any dev that would get butthurt over something as trivial as someone showing his excitement for piracy thanks to whatever TX throws on the market.

You need to remove that stick from your ass buddy, because there's clearly something wrong with you if you even believe for one second the nonsense you are spouting.
