Hi,
I love your work.
I only got one problem:
I made an bootable USB and added some apps.
Now a frinde of mine would like to have the .iso from my USB.
The problem now is, that I don´t find the right "Boot Image" to make an bootable ISO out of my stick.
Can you please help me here out to get this thing working?

You're a lifesaver. It seems like no one else cares about creating bootable diagnostic disc/disks anymore, and then, after a quick search found you. Many times thank you for what you've created. It's nice having something that I can use to check out Windows 8/10 drives with.

You should look at https://usb-image-tool.en.uptodown.com/windows to make an image of the USB, then write the image back to theirs, as long as the drive is the same size or bigger.

in 17.10 every program present in y:/programs is missing! this never happened in 17.04
tried uefi and non uefi boot, still the same

I think you downloaded the naked build, it's stripped of all programs, giving you just the Windows 10 Preinstalled Environment.

but in the pendrive there are the isos of the hd imaging softwares, they're not mounted in the system. they were present in the 17.04 version.
I used the naked build both the times in fact portable app suite were not available even before, but shortcuts in start menu were all working (hd cloning, hd size checker, etc etc)

Great job! i don't even have to put spinrite on it! happy coincidence that im switching to lubuntu at home too. nearly every app and bootcd included are ones i would have hand picked myself. It certainly saved me a lot of time putting together an updated multiboot usb. There were only a handful of apps i had to add (like hitmanpro, chromium, snappy driver installer, wsusoffline, getdataback) and i was pretty much good to go.

a couple of ideas for the next iteration: (mostly just my preference)
check out geek.menu, its a fork of portableapps launcher that has a few extra features (custom shortcuts, adding .bat files, app list caching).
eXpresso(aka Coffee/C.A.F.E.) is a portable app that temportarily associates filetypes with an application that runs from a portable USB device (very useful for proprietary/frequent file formats) without modifying the host's OS.
persistence for lubuntu (YUMI automates it now)

Thank you, keep up the good work!

Try booting from UEFI, that error usually only happens when booting from BIOS.
