so I'm guessing the vram boost negative points only effect games running off the 3ds sd card because I just forced activated it in nds-bootstrap.ini and settings.ini and using my r4 card I find games limited by ds hardware run better than before

The negative points also happen in games outside of the SD card. It make the DSTWO unable to boot.
Also, force-activating won't do anything, as it's literally removed from bootstrap and TWLoader's Slot-1 loader.

thats odd thats its been removed console output mentions vram boosted and certain games clearly have better performance
 
and that happens on your R4?
If not on your R4, you might be using an older bootstrap version, then.
yeah i load games using twloader with my r4 only for the extra benefits such as boosted audio and boosted cpu but decided to mess with vram boost today
 
Is it possible to stretch the top screen to fill like 16:9? (no black borders)
its really already stretched a good amount as it is and I think it would look really bad being stretched even more to fit the full screen...after you select a game hold start while its launching and see how small the original size was

Can i add this for the compatibility of Megaman ZX?
It has lots of loading times like megamerge, transition to another area etc so a lot of patience is required and after playing like a few hours i think, it gets a sudden black screen but i'm not so sure about that one, happened twice to me in lurrere's battle..
I'm sure that ZX Advent behaves the same way..
