Hacking Need for help updating New3ds's firmware

Hi, my current firmware is Sys 11.2.0-35U. Is it safe if I update to latest firmware 11.6? It's been a long time since I haven't touched my 3ds.

have you installed cfw on it via boot9strap? if so, then yes you can update with no worries since the exploit is un patch-able by Nintendo

btw, I just updated the lastest freeshop version, but it doesn't show all the new games. Am I missing something? or the app is no longer working?

I am currently using this version https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-pauls-freeshop-fork-open-source-eshop-alternative.483159/ I may be wrong but I believe the original one has not been updated in some time. Also go to settings and try updating the title-keys
